Tomorrow it’s once again time for the Swedish Skateboard Awards – Svenska Skateboardgalan. We won’t be able to attend but wish all our friends who are nominated for an award good luck!
Mike Vallely is back with yet another brand of his own, Elephant Brand. His past endeavors might not always have been very successful but there’s something about Elephant Brand that makes me want this to go well for Mike. No matter what, he rips as always and have fun doing it and that’s what’s really important!

Our very own Andreas and Pigeon homie Oskar made a video. It’s called “Skatepark Boys” and although it’s not the official Pigeon video it features the whole team and a lot of our friends. We will show the whole video in three parts, starting today with part one. Part two next Tuesday and part three in two weeks. Now watch it and enjoy. This is skateboarding as it always should be: fun!
The Screaming Hand graphic by Jim Phillips is one of the most classic graphics in skateboard history. A bunch of people have tattoos of it but few are as hardcore as Mickes which is an actual screaming hand! The handy (no pun intended) work was done by Kalle at Swahili Bob’s. And yes, it hurt…
We had a great late night session at the Skarpnäck Plaza yesterday. Unfortunately we forgot to bring cameras but we managed to snap these pictures of Micke with an iPhone. All things considered I think they turned out pretty good. Next time we’ll make sure to bring a real camera though…
A little faster with the welcome video this time… We’re proud to welcome all terrain shredder Andreas Westling to the Pigeon team! We have been friends with Andreas for a long time and been skating with him all the time so it just came naturally that he should be a part of the family. Glad to have you on board Andreas (no pun intended)!
